Well, from what i understand-
This new crate motor has the front valve (Camshaft) cover for the 93/94, but i assume has the timing chain cover for the 91/92... GM Probably built these like they did the 3.4L S10 crate motors... No covers with sensors for the later style, just the older style of motor so people could switch thier parts onto them if needed and save the cost of the motor to make more sales.

I thought about keeping it and using it for my MG Conversion, but think i will stick to the plan and sell it. I will take pictures and place it on ebay, probably tomorrow since I really dont need another motor sitting in the shop. know anyone who needs a crate motor?
