i have a 91 z34 that i took the top half off because of timming belt snappin. had the the heads milled put back together and it ran a little rough but ran strong under acceleration the next day it stalled and wont start i have spark i have fuel timing belts brand new any ideas?????

Maybe your battery? If you have spark, fuel and everything else is ok, then there is a big problem. Now if you can tell us more then we can help. What Fuel PSi you have, are there any cell lights, what was done to the engine?

When you timed it, did you set both banks to have the cam flats up at the same time?
all the local auto parts stores and dealers coundnt get them i have 35 mm lifters and in 92 thay changed to 33mm lifters i called a place i found on ebay with a head and cam carrier for sale out of a 92 with 33mm lifters worst part was only one local junk yard had one and it was sittin on a shelf for 700 i will not buy a used motor i cant not hear run

They changed to 33mm in 97.
The original GM service manual said to have both banks with the flats up, but was later corrected to say that one bank has the flats up while the other bank has the flats down. You have to time one side, then turn the crank 360 degrees and then time the other side. If you have them both up, it runs like a dual 3 cylinder since the waste spark will still send spark to the opposite cylinder. Ive heard and rode in a car with the timing setup like this and it sounds like you description.Ben
