I read the bulletin in the tranny section of this site. Unfortunately too late. Of course reading this at this point wouldn't have mattered. The damage had already been done. My car started making cold start noises. I dismissed it as just a cold start noise. Not too smart! It got worse. Started slipping in OD. Took it to a Tranny shop and $765 later got it back. (He was a friend or it would have been more) He said he had never seen this before. It had broken the spline hub out of the input carrier. When I saw the bad part, it looked like it was trying to spin weld itself just to keep going. Hence the noise. Just throwing this out FYI. Love my new Tranny! (he kicked it up a notch) Don't ask me how. Shifts harder and faster, no more soft stuff. It rocks!
