ihave a88 2.8 gp 4spd auto does anyone for sure if it will directly bolt in a 92 lumina z34or i looked at it and it looks the same my friend needs it and iwanna no for sure before istart tearing his car down

I think that one is not electronically controlled. If that is so, I believe the wiring would be HELL to make it work. Physically though, it will fit.

i thought 93 up was electronic controlled and 88 92 sould be the same

The 4T60E was available in 91, not sure when they stopped using the 4T60.

it was 91 for 3.4 cars and 93 for 3.1 cars. so no that trans will not work
