My neighbor's 95 GP is getting terrible mileage.. down in the 10 MPG range.
he's got a new o2, all the injectors test fine and overall it runs/idles pretty good for a 130K+ engine. The only thing i found wrong was that the intake hose was clamped funky and it might have been leaking air at the TB.. Exhaust flow is good so i think the cat is ok still.
he's trying to sell it and having a hard time when it's burning 1/4 tank of gas per test drive
Any ideas?

I mean you know about 60v6's and have a handle on what to look for, and you're reporting back with everything looking fine. How does the exhaust smell? Is it running overly rich according to the exhaust? Maybe a fuel leak somewhere since it's only vanishing when on test drives (when the pump builds pressure). Have you got an OBD 1 cable to watch the sensors?
