I thought you had the Actron scanner cause you can view that with the actron scanner.

It is the 24x sensor but I can't figure out which one it is. It is either the one on the top on the cam carrier or the one down by the harmonic balancer.

Yeah I have the scanner it just tells me 336 crank position sensor a low performance. I checked and I have voltage to the sensor. I just had my oil pan serviced, I bet you thats it. Hope I can get home.

The Actron scanner tells you the IGN ADV (degree) info under view data.

oh lol. When I scan the car again I will let you know. My car did seem to run much better with the filter off. I think that it was just coincidence that the wires rubed through just enough to cause a problem.

Might just be me here BVE, but that car sounds like it's missing badly in the second vid clip! I'm going to venture a guess that your timing belt slipped a tooth. I really think you need to replace your timing belt. GL.

I may have to go buy a new timing belt and re-time the engine.

Ok. I was playing around with the car yesterday and I am not sure where this wire goes. I plugged it into my PSP because it was the same exact plug and it was right there. Apparently the plug does not go there! I was checking out some Monte Carlo pics and the plug plugs into something on the passanger side. But I have no clue what it is. Anybody have any idea's? When I unplug the plug from the PSP then it throws a code P1200 which is Injector Control Circuit.

I am confused as to where this wire goes.

I don't have that plug on my car but if it's the one I am thinking of it would be the canister purge solenoid. Is the plug red?

OK, my car is running great again, hopefully it stays that way. BV-you want me to get you that info from my scanner? What do you want and do you want the car on, running or driving?

The canister purge solenoid is already plugged in and so it the flow sensor for the EVAP.

I would still like to know what #'s you are getting for it while you are idling.

I mentioned it because I thought someone before had noticed it was the same type/color plug for the steering assist deal and the purge solenoid, therefore could easily be mixed up.
