  • 3.6L Ly7

    I am looking for the deck height or piston pin height also know as compression height for the 3.6L Quad Cam engine. If anyone has any of these numbers please let me know.

      Nope, unfortunately it isn't in that spec sheet in fact I have the exact same sheet as a print off from the dealer. Seems odd to me though that they would add a page of specs on the valves and not have the deck height.

        I'll even take the length from the top or the piston to the center of the large enf of the rod if anyone has that.

          The compression height should be the same or within thousandths of that found on the 3500, Superdave has a thread regarding his 3500 in which he was pondering rod/piston options and he posted the compression heights between the two engines and indicated the 3.6 piston is a swop option for the 3500. I believe the info is in a resent thread as in I saw it about 2 months ago.
