I thought Ben was sorta working on something a few years ago and then abandoned it?
To the OP, OBD 1.5 is a hybrid setup. If you want to tune anything get OBD 2.

Has anybody ever found proof that OBD 1.5 really exists, or was that just something somebody said once that stuck?
HP Tuners can tune the 97 DOHC.
DHP could tune the 96 and 97 DOHC (out of business).
EFILive is looking into adding support.

OBD 1.5 is just a term people use.
It's basically a hybrid between OBD 1 and OBD 2. It uses alot of OBD 1 but has a flashable prom, as opposed to removable. *IIRC*
