I sold the grand prix today i got 1600 for it would i be numb to buy a 95 firebird convertable with the 3.4 with 90 k auto i know nothing about that 3.4 only that it is funny looking and is a push rod motor

so do i i think im done with the dohc man back to push rod for me i learned my dohc lesson...lol. i guess i could have been easyer on it.. that car had 103,000 miles on and seconded engine has 137,000 miles on transmission number three if you count the original, has had about 3 sets of ball joints and tierod ends,4 sets of front brakes,2 sets of wires and plugs. THAT CAR HAS BEEN THROUGH IT ALL AND BACK. not my problem any more i told the that it was overheating on me,and that i got it under control he went and raged the shit out of it came back and asked his gril friend if she wanted it or not she said yeah i got the 1600 cash and am moving on to a camaro ! Iam gonna miss the Grand Prix tho i feel like a ass tho ive always made fun of v6 F-body guys but im getting a deal on this camaro because it has allot of miles on its a 5 speed with a newer clutch tho so no more worrying about autos any more, not like im going down in hp either the camaro has a 3800 (i know i know, im a trader)so post to be 200Hp and 225Ftlbs tq. thats what the Gp was stock.1997 Chevrolet Camaro 30th Anniversary 5Speed.

well i looked at that 90 degree hunk of shit today ! im out. it was ticking like a bitch and was smoking from under the hood she told me she would 900 and i still wouldnt take it too much, but im looking at a 1995 firebird convert right now im trying to get it for 1500 the guy wants 2000 for it under 90,000 auto 3.4 v6 ne one know anything i should look for on that 3.4 i have no clue about it at all .1997 Chevrolet Camaro 30th Anniversary 5Speed.

Damn. The 3.4 auto with convert will be a heavy slow SOB!

guy wanted to much ive heard nothing but bad things about that 3.4 its slow i hear and was only made a few years, anyways the car needed a right fender it was crakced, the right qt panel had a big dent in it the passenger side window wouldnt go down the low oil light was on the shifter was messed up it was realllly hard to put in gear, it had an out head light the top was new but it had to be put down by hand, the leather seats up front wear tore up and the rear seat was changed to cloth , the guy said he just tuned it up 6 months ago still seemed like it was running a little rough. and he wouldnt go any lower then 1700, so i just bought the 97 camaro had a slight lifter tick put some lucas in it drove it home and it was gone, needs a high beam light, vent on hood and tune up thing has over 200.000 and still runs pretty good, also needs valve cover gaskets paid 800 bucks

Firebird sounded rough.
Camaro might just have noise from being an older engine. It might quieten down after it warms up. My 3100 had a ticking noise and it turned out to be a worn timing chain. Now it's quiet. You said it has a newer clutch? Not a bad deal for 800!
