Stock Spark Plug gap

Here's a quick question. Whats the stock spark plug gap. I believe it is .045 .. but just wanted to double check. I just bought some AC Delco Professional Platinum ($6 a pop) with a .60 and need a definate answer before I do em.

Also, the part store guy recommend these over the Rapid Fires, said they alot better. Anyone else use these? Likes/dislikes?

They should last longer...

The rapidfires haven't had their original design in quite a while... now they're pretty much just a single-platinum

So the stock gap was .045, correct? Do I have to regap it to that spec or could I just use the .60 gap?

What happends if the gap aint set correctly?
