pipe plugs worke fine on mine... (after i put the right size in, lol.)

For future reference to any one plugging the egr hole the thread is gas compression with a Inverted Flare. Any hydraulic shop store should have it. Will look like this but a larger size. https://www.fastenal.com/web/product.../440271-131280Last edited by Dave96z34; 02-05-2015, 12:09 PM.

Lol 3 years ago I swapped in engine number 3. I went to block it off again and found I had used the wrong plug from the beginning. I found the thread was the same as compression gas. But the flare was inverted. So the plug I found it was not inverted. I stuck it in a lathe and changed it. I think the only place you you would see it is in a hydraulic shop. Engine number 4 is in its crate in the garage.
