  • Just Bought A Rare Z34

Hi, im new to the forum, I just bought a 1992 Lumina Z-34 5-speed, the car is mint its arctic white and only has 59,000 orig miles. The only problem with it is either the master clutch or slave cylinder. it looks like its behind the fire wall. Has anyone ever replaced theres? Is it hard? Some tips? Does the engine have to come out? Thanks Kirk

what exactly is the problem with it?

the master cyl is next to the brake booster... follow the feed tube to the resavor down and that will lead you right to it.

the slave cyl is attached to the transmission itslef

Its not too difficult to replace, other than bleeding it.

If the clutch master you have is shot, I have a whole clutch master system I could sell you. It may need to be bled, its been sitting for a while, but it works.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.
