    6750? I hope he's right.

I haven't been able to get mine above 6100. Maybe I should try putting it in first or second so it will be forced to get all the way up there.

Then again, I'm not one for killing my tranny all in one shot.

well i dont know for sure if its true or not. They are electronically controlled for shifts...and your tach might be off some. 6100 is low, way low for a DOHC. 91-93 shifts around 6200 RPM. 94-95 shift about 6400-6500 according to brian. I shift at 7000-7150

The 4T65-E should take the DOHC better than the 4T60-E, but what the hell do I know when it comes to those transmissions.

I've got a 93 Grand Prix 2 dr. SE 3.4 w/5 speed. 93 was the last year it was offered by Pontiac.

The only Gm W-body that opted for the 3.8L thru all the years of the DOHC was the Buick line (Regal and maybe other frames), I always thought that Buick (basically GM) first implemented the Series Superchargers however I could be wrong. Monte Carlos got the 3.8 starting in 1998 I think.

What about the bonnevilles? The SSE's SSEI's had a supercharged series 1 3800 option in them. I'm not sure what year it started but I do know it was at least 1993. They are a W I assume.

I think Bonnevilles are H-bodies (at least their FWD applications are). That includes FWD Delta 88s and LeSabres.
