Quick question for the DOHC experts

Are the pistons in the 91-93 LQ1 the exact same ones used in 94-97?

91-95 are the same (flat top), 96-97 are different (partial dome)

Alright, I'm trying to order some Hyper pistons through Sealed Power. They gave me two different part #'s. H813CP and H684CP. But they couldn't tell me which is which. Does anyone know?

The 813 are the 91-95 type pistons and the 684 are the 96+ type with a .040 dome.

as far as the sealed power ones go, they look exactly like the early style except with different size ring grooves since they 96-97 uses a different ring set.
blue shift got a set of the later model ones and i got a set of the early ones; we couldn't tell a difference between them just by looking though apparently the later ones have a slight dome or maybe they just bumped up the compression height on the aftermarket ones..

I just recieved my set of 831's the other day. And they're dished just like my factory pushrod pistons, though the discription said domed.

So then what are these?
