  • Coolant overflow tank

Hey guys, I'm wondering what size of a coolant overflow tank I need to buy. I want to put in an auxilary overflow tank and convert my existing tank into a washer fluid tank. That way I can throw out my over-the-battery POS.

A common size seems to be 20oz. But I have found one that is 50oz but is quite large, it is 3 inch dia. and 16 inches long.

    Let me know whats up.

Just get the one from a NON-ABS car, It has two mount holes on it.

      OPPS

I did read your post right! LOL

If you want you can see what I did for an overflow on mine.

I used on from a later 90's Ford Aerostar and cut the washer bottle OFF of it.

I have it mounted under the right fender/bumper.

      Regards,
      Dave

Hey Dave, it has been a while. How's business doing?

Anyway. So, you used a washer fluid tank from an areostar or was it a coolant tank? I've been wanting to do this for so long now. But the only real way, I could find was by trial and error. By going to pick your part and finding something that would fit. I've tried a few, but have had no luck yet.

          Hey!

Business is great! It was the coolant tank by the way. Let me know IF you want to take a peak at how I got mine mounted, the coolant tank I'm talking.
