  • 3500 TB Adapters, ARP rod bolts, Pistons

I got the adapters today to use the billet or stock gen 3 TB on a 3500 plenum. The O rings and bolts will be here soon to complete them. Price is $40.

I will add the ARP rod bolts/nuts shortly. Price is $60. Im also getting pricing for silvolite pistons for the 3.1 and 3.4 motors. I need to know what 2.8 pistons I should price as well.

Would you be interested in making adapters for the GM 4.3L tb. I think they would sell pretty easily, alot of guys are using them on the 3500 manifold.

Maybe we can work something out. I wouldnt mind sending you my tb for measurements and such.

Not really, as I don't think the 4.3 TB is a good solution for these motors. Its very touchy on throttle and you hit max acceleration well before you hit 100% throttle. That and it requires more work on the plenum side (bore it over 4mm). 65mm is as large as I will support for the 3500 plenum. If there is a stock TB that size that can be made to work, then I would consider getting the adapters made for it.

I understand your reasoning. The point is that whether you advise it or not, people are still using them. I think it would be a very good selling item.

I personally am going to use the 4.3L tb. It is very cheap and easy. It's just that Midnightrider is the only person who makes the adapter. He also makes them by hand @ $80 a pop. It would be great if you would consider making the adapters.
