I know this is an older thread, but I have a question on the cams available in the WOT-TECH store.

Billet, self explanatory and not currently interested in spending that much...

If I'm piecing together the information, all but the stock regrind are solid cores?

This has been something in the back of mind mind for a while now, that I would need to address when I start building my 3400 or 3500, I have both, and may start with the 3400 and push it till it blows, then build the 3500 up from the weak point(s) found in the 3400. Getting back to the cam, I have seen several broken stock cams in stock applications, and want to address this one weak point in the gen 3 660.

We do not offer regrinds any more, and never used the stock hollow tube cams. The regrinds were always solid core cams reground. Comp has gone straight to the source on the cam blanks to get them in their rough ground state, before any stock specs are ever ground. This means more aggressive lobes are possible without welding and the pushrod lengths won't need to be as long for similar grinds. The billet cam has no rough grind and allows a few more lobes to be added to the list of options.

Yes. We have never used hollow core cams.
