the upper and lower intake manifolds for the 3400

i have the 3400 engine, and i was wondering if i get the upper/lower intake manifolds would i need to tune the pcm? or even if i just got the upper would i have to?

You wouldn't have to tune it, but tuning would give you the best results. This is true even of a stock motor.

ok, would it be best to just buy an upgraded pcm? or take it to a shop?

For stock to near stock, a reprogrammed PCM done through a lot of experience is probably the best bang for the buck. With more in depth mods, a shop or programmer is best. The problem is finding someone that knows what they are doing when it comes to tuning.

Speaking of programming ben, do you know where i can find soemeone that can program my car obd2? someone that know 60degree.

Depends on what ECM your working with...

If you are talking about the beretta, then the only programmer that supports a 96 stock beretta ecm is DHP... If you swap to a 1997 #058 Monte ECM then Ben should be able to tune that file for you, or anyone who knows HP Tuners and knows their head from their ass when it comes to tuning.
