I would like to knoe if anyone has used the ARP fasteners, that are in the 2.8/3.1 MPFI section in the wot-tech store on a 2.8 TBI vehicle? Will they fit?. I would love to use the header studs, main stud kit, and crank damper bolt; I know the head stud kit & rod bolts and nuts will fit because ARP lists them as replacements in their catalog. I think the flexplate bolts will also fit, but am unsure. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!. Thanks. Late.

flexplate and rod are direct fit. Mains as listed are longer than you need unless you are going to use a 3.4 DOHC windage tray (see the clearance section, I have 2 left). I need to make the option for the shorter main studs for the non windage tray motors. I have to look up the price to see if I can list them for a little (maybe $5). Head studs, I don't have an iron head section but there is a set from ARP for those already.Ben

anyone give a dollar figure on line boring the main caps? i'mwondering if i should get the arp main cap bolts ontop of the rods and heads. this is for a N/A application DD, stock CR, SP pistons, no cam larger than the strip on wot-tech, plans to rev it to 7000rpm if the dyno shows it still makes good power to that point, all dependant on port work and tune. 3.69:1 gear final drive FWD application, anything else info wise needed? just not sure if i should was time and money on this investment. thats the main cap bolts i'm asking about...
