Yes, the 3400 head gaskets are interchangable with the 3.4 block (but not the DOHC block)

Ok, here is an update and its VERY important. The gaskets should be here by the 11th, if not sooner. That is the official ETA.

Pricing went up...for next year. I am waiting for the actual thicknesses available (.050 is .051 as an example). I do know .051 will be the thickest of the cheapest pricing. .056 to .075 is the next range, and .080-.098 is the thickest.

Pricing will be updated so that the current price shows as a sale price and the thickness selection will show the price differences.

I will have the first batch here early next week to ship out with orders. For those that have waited through the BS time frames, thanks! You got one hell of a deal, that is for sure.

And i am sorry if my post pissed anyone off. The inside track is hard to not sample from. No one could have gotten theirs any sooner, so do not think that ben was holding anything back. I would really buy now before the price goes up.

yeah reading owned me. these would payoff in the long run.

hold the price for a few more weeks please. still working on what i talked to you about the other day.

ok reading the pages for the 3400 and the 3500 gaskets, it says the 3500 cometic ones are 3.72 and thats close to the 3400 stock size. i know the 3400 cometic ones are smaller diameter. now with that said i could use the 3500 cometic on my 3400 right. might get a 3500 bottom end down the road.

                            Wrong gaskets?

I got the 3400 comtic mls gaskets for my 3.4 iron head as directed in this thread. I went to install them but the don't line up with the bores and the embosed parts hangs out over the side of the block. The sticker on the package says they are for LX9, lZE, LZ4 92.5mm 0.030"

I did some reading on the LX9 and found out the bores are offset 1.5mm from the original 60V6.

Was I sent the wrong head gaskets?

Can you take a picture? They all have that printed on the sticker, which is misleading and irrelevent unfortunately. Cometic did not understand the LZ motors had the offset bores originally. The LX9 is not offset however.
