  • Manley Race Valves and Store updates

I have listed the Manley Race valves or the 3400 engines. These are best for boost and high RPM application, especially those looking to use the available XFI cam lobes and the PAC 1518 springs.

Stainless Steel XH-426 Exhaust and NK-842 Intake valves
    Chrome Stems and Hard Tips
    Swirl Polished and Fully Machined
Race Master Exhaust (Straight Stem) and Race Flow Intake
Recommended exhaust valve for Alcohol Engines
Designed for up to 8000 RPM and 1200 Degree F temps

These are optional on the street/strip 3400 heads and standard on the race/boost 3400 heads.

XFI is in regards to a lobe design that COMP uses. Xtreme Fuel Injection is the longer name. They are a fairly aggressive lobe.

So does Comp have cam blanks now and they can put any grind on the gen3 now, or is it still a re-grind from a solid replacement cam??

As I understand it you can get any lobe ground onto a solid replacement shaft, therefore the custom pushrods will still be recommended.

Right, but with a blank cam (one with no lobes pre-cut, just round metal basically), you have more options opened up as to what combinations you can do with LSA, etc.

the difference being there are alot more options when you dont have a lobe to begin with just a blank. and you do not have to take damn near all the material off just to make a high lift
