I see. Yeah in the Beretta I had no carpet for a while and when I put on a WAI for shits and grins the sound was so loud that it VIBRATED the floor pans/firewall/etc and sounded insane. That was with a 56mm TB which was freaking loud with a WAI. My 64/65mm LX5 is not loud at all now. I'm sure there's more sound deadening in the newer cars too anyway.

I saw that last pic and thought "wtf!"...then remembered that your hood isn't back on the car yet haha, not a normal view, that's for sure.

I've had mine installed for a couple of weeks now and while I haven't gotten on the gas a lot because of a hole in my rear header, I have definitely noticed an improvment over the stock mount. Better traction and acceleration from a stop and it drasticly cuts down on weight transfer in corners. The mount also works great with the Torque Link from MP Racing, the two compliment each other very well. I did find it easier to leave the top plate off untill the lower portion is installed otherwise the bolts don't clear the cruise bracket.

Need to ask here. On my 97 Cav, with 3400 swap it seems like I have a lot of slop from the engine moving around. I have a lower dogbone and the factory 99 GA upper mount. I don't have the 2 top engine mounts that go to the radiator support as the j-body support isn't going to stand a chance that way. Just curious if the Grand Am guys have those dogbones that go to the radiator support or not. And any guess on how well the mount will perform without those present?

The N body does not use dogbones, so this mount is all there is on top.

For some reason I thought they did. I guess if I'd have just done a google image search (which I just did) i'd have verified that already, lol. Thanks for the info. This mount will definately be on the to-buy list.
