  • Getting ready to buy

I don't have a donor car so i have to go hunting. What am I looking for?

Engine is a 1996 3.4 DOHC, Wiring I can handle. I'm planning on finding a ECU for OBD 1 Manual trans. Got a part number in particular?

I want one of your chips, I would love you to tune it, but cleveland might be a bit far for you. Engine mods will be hand polishing and port matching of head, LIM, and UIM. Ellimination of all emissions, 6/6 timing, and a cheap re-ring job. 160 stat. I'm kinda hoping you might have a program already done thats been done to motor with these mods or close to it. I may go with 2 chips, so I still have a running car while your fixing the other one. In my move from St. Croix I lost the software cd you sent me with the chip i got from you for the 92 Z. i also lost the chip burner and basically am annoyed with the lack of info thats out there for doing this. Lots of geuss work, I'm just out of patience.

I'm pretty much grabbing any FWD manual trans I can find that will bolt up to a 3.4. Lots of $200 cavalier trans out there. If it lasts the summer I'm happy.

Can i still get the underdrive pulley and dogbone?

6 cars in my drive, 2 run. I want atleast something fun to drive, this is key, all the above plan to be complete by June.

    Thx again
sigpicHow to make High performance Emissions:
A "true" High flow converter, straight pipe.
Low/No flow EGR valve, block off plate.
Carbon canister and purge valve mod, place in large 30 Gallon can, cover, and place curbside, the city will do the rest.
PCV valve and vent tube, reroute to exhaust to dump where it belongs, on the ground. Or add breathers and let it all free.

Dogbone maybe, UD pulley not likely. I don't have anything tuned for a 96 engine and 6/6 is not for 96 cams. I don't even remember what the equivalent would be. I timed my 96 GTP to stock.
