  • I need videos

I am updating my store and have already started linking to videos showing off what the cams sound like at idle, and how they perform on the track. If you don't want me linking to your video, please let me know.

I hope to have a customers section to showcase what you have done and have all the information in one place for others to see. Anything you can give me for information and multimedia for the site is appreciated.

That is what I have so far.

did the specs for my cam change. the ones in the new page you made are different from what was listed before.
the old specs are listed in the video the only ones i had listed that are different is the @.050 that i remember.

i like the new setup for the page though

Yes, those are the actual grind specs. The sheet that I have for their grinds are all based on a cam master lobe that is larger. This means we lose a little duration and possibly lift compared to the advertised grind spec. 230/236 is 227/233. The 206/260 grinds are 205.4/262.4.

Now that I have actual grind specs for quite a few cams, I have switched everything to actual spec. The custom cam page will be very fun to explain all of this... I would like to keep it to certain cams that are popular and delete the redundant grinds, 1161 and 1429 coming to mind right now for the NA grind.

              Glad to see my video

Also glad to know that someone elses valve train sounds like mine with the cam! That noise always kinda bothered me, even after Superdave and others told me it was normal I still wondered... now I can see that the Stage 4 in that Grand Am sounds just like mine (although mine isn't quite that loud).

even since that video its gotten a wee bit quieter. ill snag a vid once i get the headers back on.

but compared to what i first started with its a pretty damn good improvement. i still think i only have about 200 miles on it so far and then winter/cold came up so it kinda got shelved until spring when i can start tuning.

my next video will most likely be with the 3500 top end just need to pick up a LIM and all the gaskets.

I don't know if you need a stock cam for comparison, but I wanted to get a good clip of my current exhaust before the new motor goes in with the 1280 cam and street/strip heads....

for comparison sake this is of the same exhaust from the downpipe to the muffler but on the stock cam.

I don't think a video of the cam idling with a vacuum leak is going to do anyone much good. I don't recommend having vacuum leaks and that might confuse someone:P
