I got a question about ordering something and I need an opinion as well. I'm going to order the gen II 3.1 ported manifold set eventually and want to know if I need to send in my chip to get re-tuned. Then my other question is if I order a new TB with it how much of a discount do I get for also ordering the manifold set?

Now what I need opinions on is which TB should I get? I have a '93 Z24, only mods would be ported manifolds, chip, and UDP.

I only have the 2.8 set here right now so I will have to get a 3.1 setup. No tuning is required for the manifold set. I don't offer any throttle bodies for the gen 2 engines either. You would need to do a gen 3 top end swap (heads and manifolds and fuel rail and i think the timing cover, power steering pump, and throttle cables) to have more options. Tuning will be necessary at that point as well making it well beyond the ported manifold setup for the gen 2.

If you have a wot-tech chip already, it will work just fine. If you have a stock chip, I can offer the performance chip for $20 off. Its an adapter that attaches between the stock chip and the computer so you wouldn't need to reprogram the stock chip, and you won't be without a vehicle if you need to send in the chip for changes.

yea I already have your chip I figured the throttle body would work but oh well. Now that I think about it I should probably just do a 3400 swap anyway then get the TB to get the most use out of it. And don't rush to get a manifold set yet because I don't know when I want them.

I have a 62mm TB for the gen II. I may have it up for sale later next year. You should also change your rocker to the 1.6's. I had a good gain there.
