Would one assume that ANY boosted application should consider this as an ingrual part of a HP build? And Ben for the novice builder you might want to explain the uses of the ability to set the timing at the gear............because I would love an explaination of that aswell............great job guys I am sure it will do well in the store..............

Im not too wise on the subject of being able to advance or retard the timing with the cam either. If someone could do some further explination that would be awesome.2006 AWD TBSS 12.538 @ 106.92 1.66 60' Bolt-ons only

Ill go into more detail with it using my simulation software as examples, but advancing the timing effectively lowers your powerband. Say you make power from 2500-6500. 3 degrees might be 2200-6200.
Its not just a powerband shift as it is a total hp change, as you can tune the timing for a specific setup and increase output while changing the powerband.
Roller timing chains have less friction, so aside from strength and cam timing options, you also increase power from the part itself.Ben

So given that....if the right cam profile was to be designed with my kit in mind...then the timing option with this set would give me a better starting point to tune from? Given my(and Phils)for example........what would be the option used with a CSC specific cam profile.....?....or does that just give you more options when dialing in the desktop dyno?

Ben, what's your recommendation on the double roller for the regrinds from the store? Do you guage double-roller necessity on lobe lift amounts? Duration? A combination of the two?Matt

I'm wondering....as close as things are in there with the DR, was crankshaft end play taken into account as well as possible future wear on the thrust bearing?Andy
