Updated with stock 3400 motor simulations for the cam specs. This might help you get an idea of what the cam does. I will simulate other modifications as well and make packages to suit the cam for each application. This was the first step.

Stock 3400, 3400 with stock 3500 top end, 3400 with street ported 3500 top end, and 11.5:1 compressoin 3400 with street ported 3500 top end. That should cover a wide range now. For specific applications, I will work with customers to get the right setup. I cannot possibly simulate everyone's ideas. I will try to make an easier comparison later as well as list the recommendation for each cam. This should allow me to make dynamic packages per application.

well it was either going to be that one or a better choice you could recomend. ive got ls6 springs right now if that matters.
im open to opinions for what would work good.sigpic

didnt have anything machined down under the spring.
with that advice given the 1357 grind is looking good for lift.sigpic

Here's another question: how big of a cam can you go before you need gears and/or a converter to make it worthwhile?
I.E. Could I safely run a 1393 grind with my factory converter and 3.05 diff?Matt

that one would be no prob with ur diff, it will actually give u better bottom and the dur isnt much to worry about...only higher dur like the 216 and up into the 220-230 range would i worry about gears to take up the slack in the bottom end
