10477565 is the part number for the silicon tan-colored o-ring. they come in packs of 5 if you order one so just go your dealer and have them take one out of the pile.

I know this is an old post...but I was wondering if you ever sold the bronze gear for the OPD you had listed in here as a separate item? If not, I was curious as to whether it would be a good combo with the CompCam 260H Camshaft. If you have not sold it as yet, I'd be willing to pay $50.00 for just the bronze portion of the OPD.
Just in case the controversy over whether its a good idea to use the original 2.8L, 3.1L "Black O-Ring" is still on-going...the absolute answer is "NEVER!" The problem was solved when GM went to the TEFLON (PTFE) "Brown O-Ring", which solved the horrendous oil leak problems that occurred when the Black ones dried out, cracked, became shrunken around the sealing groove the the Distributor and DIS OPD units. The only problems noted with engine crankshaft, harmonic balancer and other similar seals made of PTFE is that after 175,000 miles of use, they will begin to leak when the PTFE begins to loosen up from around the spring tensioners and begins to "wander" away from where it needs to be from gravity.
I've included images of both the Black and Brown versions of this infamous O-Ring, which also sport their GM Part Numbers.

The bronze gear costs more than $50. I paid $102 to get the last one for a guy in switzerland 2 weeks ago, who has since dissappeared. If he doesn't buy it this week, its yours for $50 and I am pulling it off the store forever.
so wait, are these needed for your old regrind cams, or just the cammotion cams?
MODS: DS CAI, TCE 65 mm tb, TCE AFPR, TCE LS lifter springs, WOT ported UIM and LIM, 3500 heads, comp cams valve springs locks and retainers, 1393 grind cam, S&S headers, custom 2.5 in catback, flowmaster 80 series , no rez, and to top it all off, an MPR tune. Among misc gauges and appearence things
Just Cammotion cams... Ben's old regrinds were not billet cams. They work fine with the stock gears. Mine looks beautiful after 15k miles... I cant say the same for my timing set though.

that was the one thing that irrked me about buying a cam, but now i dont have to worry. what happened with your timing set. was it that cloyes kit that you showed in that one thread?

yeah kinda, the one at the top of the thread was a cloyes set on a UDP application and stock motor... The end of the thread is my current set that came out, the cam gear ended up being GM the crank was aftermarket so the cam one held up better but the sprocket and chain were shot, this was due to my cam and spring combination on stock or lesser quality than stock parts. I should have bought a whole GM timing set when I did the cam, but I was too cheap to do that.

Sounds Good... Just let me know if things don't work out with him, I'll PayPal you the money ($50.00 + whatever is reasonable for you for the S&H)
