  • quick intake question

    Will a 82 2.8 intake fit on 95 sfi 3100 heads?

  • #2
    Considering port size/shape, I don't think it will. Besides, a 2.8 intake would choke a 3100.

im actually going to port and polish the intake and heads to stop it from doing that.
and the 3100 heads will still be on the 2.8 block. so if anything i should actually get more air to the cyl.

Porting and polishing is fine, I think it's more of the runner size and location between the two sets of heads and intakes.

Port location is way off, and even with massive porting, then still won't align.

                  I had to lol too.

I just wish mine didn't say the phone model number, but the name instead. The model number looks stupid, but at least tapatalk makes it much easier to view the forums than the web browser. It also helps pass time waiting in the parking lot at work for them to open the doors at 4:30am. Otherwise it's much harder to fight sleep sitting there with the radio down low sipping on coffee.

You should be able to edit your Tapatalk signature via the settings in Tapatalk. I had mine set to be less obtrusive on my old phone, but haven't done it again on this one yet...

                        :O

Thanks, Brad. The name isn't really cool, but it's better than the model number and Dave's keyboard
