'96 skylark 3.1 died can I drop a 3400sfi in?

Hi, I am new to this site and am looking to put some cheap wheels on the road since I crashed my '03 Impala (engine/trans still perfect). I found a local low mileage '96 Buick Skylark with a "knocking engine" for very little but before I buy it i was wondering: 1.) how difficult is this swap my engine in and 2.) how much should i expect to spend on the parts i don't have (keep in mind that I can pull from both cars, impala is only cosmetic and frame damage)

Welcome to the site! I would recommend going over to 3x00swap.com and downloading the 3400 swap guide. It will walk you through most everything. But honestly, its practially a direct swap for you. Feel free to ask any questions that come up though.
