The 3100 in my '95 Monte Carlo is pretty much shot and I'll be needing a new motor soon. I've been looking for a 3400 to replace it, but was also thinking about a 3.4 DOHC as well. I could be wrong, but it would seem that all I would need is the engine, wiring harness, computer, and maybe some other small items and it should go right in (right?). My car is a daily driver, so I'm not looking to mod it or put any aftermarket parts on it. I'm just looking at the 3.4 DOHC since it has more power than the 3400. What would you all do?

Probably because of maintenance and ease of the swap going from 3100 > 3400.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.
