There are currently 2 types of aftermarket camshafts available for the Gen 3 engines: new billet cores and regrinds.
A billet core is a piece of billet steel that is ground down to any desired profile. This gives the most options, but comes at a higher price. Currently, the only company that offers billet cams is Cammotion, but you must go through www.milzymotorsports.com to get them. As of Feb 2007, the price is $415-$440. They offer 2 stages of NA cams, 2 stages of supercharged cams, and also a custom cam to your specs. And as of May 2007, it sounds like Cam Motion is currently out of cores with no future plans to make any more. We will update this if this changes in the future.

**NOTE** When using a billet steel cam, it is highly recommended by the manufacturers that you use a bronze oil pump drive (distributor) gear. Crower makes this part, and we have them on the store either bare, or assembled for the FWD distributorless setup.
