places to buy paint from ?

i know some of you have repainted a panel or two so i figured i would ask here.

i got the paint code off the car so i'm looking for a place to get some paint ( i know there is more than just paint to it) to repaint a trunk lid.

the places i have found were all spray can type deals. i was looking for something that would spray out of a gun ( i have a paint gun ) as the spray can job's usually don't look the best.

the black paint code for my car

If your local parts store doesn't carry paint. Call the local body shops they might give you a contact or sell you a pint

Acrylic Lacquer is some beautiful stuff.

If the surface is truly smooth and debris free, acrylic lacquer will shine like a mirror, with the proper clear coat and application.

probably just stick with how it's already layed out on the car. just so it will look close to what's already on the car. still got to strip the old paint off the lid but it is flat and dent free.

shaved and filled the lock hole last summer and that was as far as i got. only used a skim coat of body filler on the area i welded the key hole on.
