I need help again!

So i go to start my truck today and i get nothing i checked the fuel pump pressure and thats fine then i go to look if there is spark there is none and i scanned the motor and i got "82 ignition control 3x signal error" has anyone got the same thing and fixed it or can anyone help me out?

Sounds like an issue with the crank position sensor. I would make sure the wiring is seated properly at both the sensor and the ignition, and free of corrosion. Also check the wiring and shielding for damage. If the wires come untwisted or have damaged insulation the signal could be disrupted and fail to fire the coils properly.

Also check right at the spots where the wires enter the terminals at both ends. Sometimes they look ok but a wire can be broken inside its own shielding right at that point due age/vibration/brittle. It happened to me when I put my 3.4L/4L60E in my Chevette... coincidentally it happened after first start-up while I was working on something else so it took me awhile to find because casual visual observation failed. I actually had to take it apart to discover the hidden damage.
