    Baller Status 3500 Heads

What do you do if the best isn't good enough? You get them coated.

Swain Tech did the coatings, and they help block the thermal transfer from the combustion charge to the cylinder head. Keeping the exhaust hotter will help it travel faster out the exhaust.

That is interesting and can you please explain the benefit of this or a link I can read up on the subject ? I read something lately about detonation elimination by coating the combustion chamber And keeping the thermal benefits. But they also talked about coating the ports also. With a dry film coating

Ben, will this be a future option for cyl heads, or something we would have to send out?

    I like that a lot.
Coupled with the same coating on my piston domes, this should help keep more heat in the combustion chamber and then flowing out the exhaust.
The theory is that less heat will be absorbed into the cylinder head, where it must be dissepated by the cooling system. So the motor may run a bit cooler, and it should help with durability of other parts.
And should also help to produce a smidge more power.
