Swapping cam gears?
has anyone ever done this? i just saw on ebay there are so many diff adjustable cam gears... wondering if anyone has tried them. saw some for BMW's and such... there has got to be one that fits! lol

Stock is not keyed so it is infinite for timing. You won't find any cam gears for the 3.4 DOHC other than what GM made.

If you wait, you may find some of the old adjustable cam timing tools available for sale. There seemed to be quite a few made, though I don't know the exact numbers. I still have one, but it's a few states away right now with the car. Luckily, they're all coming out to my new house at Thanksgiving.
