How do you reset an OBDII ECU to make it relearn

Title says most of it...how do you reset an OBDII ECU to relearn driving habits and idle?
Does resetting codes also reset the above?

It doesn't really learn driving habits and I am not sure there is a relearn procedure for idle other than driving the car and letting the fuel trims get sorted out if that is the issue. It doesn't self tune other than fueling, which is reactionary, meaning not the best results.

yep what ben said. but if you still want to go ahead and wipe its memory, pull the battery for about 30 min to an hour. that will do it.
