will the map sensor on my 3500 be compatible with a 7730? it's a 3 wire unit, but about 1/3 of the size of the other obd1 map sensors.

Because stock sucks...
The newer style sensors are supposed to work in place of the older ones just fine from what I've read.

Yep, they work just fine.

Not sure why you would need a MAF sensor when you are using the map?
