This is a dumb idea from the start but im fixed

I am wanting to know exactly how hard and whether it worth the trouble to swap a new axle in to make my cavy a RWD vehicle and put a high performance v6 or v8 depending on the cost between each

Though i just wanted an idea from some other people whether for the money i could do more to my current setup or drop it all and start from scratch:dead

It can be done, but it's going to take a big chunk of money and some one who knows what they are doing when it comes to cutting into the structure of your car and welding stuff to it. You don't want to end up with a RWD Cavi to have it fold up under you when you go over the first set of rail road tracks.

Well if its even possible since its already there i want to get an AWD tranny because i dont want to have to pull it all out if it can be used

But idk whether or not if it would be worth the money

Though even the possibility to put a import engine if i have to for it to be AWD whatever is up for a option cuz i dont kno what is actually capable

    Angry

Thank you for the link i knew it was possible but my main concern is that whatever i do im going to driving this car as my daily

Though i dont mind having to put gas into it but whether it would be even safe to do it

As i thought my tank is in the way but i can relocate it to the spare tire well

Also to include if i decide to out a v8 into it the engine isnt going to be easy going i will have the largest v8 it can hold which does concern me cuz the car would be the death of me im sure

My wifes old 95 T-bird had a tank that the driveshaft went through, if you are looking to do mostly junkyard parts/on the cheap. It wasn't like there was a tube through the tank, it was more like a flattened "U" shape, and there was a hose that went from the top of one side to the top of the other so it could purge air from one side to the other as you filled it up or cornered hard.
