megasquirt piggyback. got a few tech questions

so im in the process if building my harness, Im going to run fuel only on MS to get the feel for it then go full stand alone. Im at the IAC part in the wiring, I have no clue as to what makes this work so im not sure what computer to run it on...

another question. C11 and C12 pins on the factory harness are the injectors. D6 and D7 are "Injector Drive low" what is that and how does it work? a wiring diagram I found on v6z24 says to ground those but I wanna know how it works/what it is before I do that
