Finally got some good runs in.
So I went to Bfest 2010 this year in Chicago and we visited Great Lakes Dragway. My first two runs out there I was testing the waters to see what the car would do, so I had knocked it back to a "75" shot jets. (I will post my jets tonight for reference) I ran that twice and got a 13.5 average... So I decided to bump it up to the 100 shot jets that I have. The first time out I only got the same 13.5, but my MPH went up. I then decided to weigh the bottle and see if I needed to fill it. It only had 2lbs left so I topped it off.
Next time out I snagged a 13.154@106.45 I could feel the difference from the bottle being filled properly. Two more runs after that I screwed up, One I left the shifter in L so I hit the limiter... and one other the trans delayed the 1-2 shift so it tapped the limiter as well. It wasn't till my last run that I was able to get it down to a 13.094@106
I'm quite impressed and I will be bringing it to a dyno soon so I can see what I'm actually getting for a WHP gain since I do not think the quoted HP is what's being put to the ground. I do know with the same jets as I ran this time I only got a 60WHP gain on the dyno with a stock motor.
I just need to concentrate on making the trans shift a bit quicker on the 1-2 shift and then I think I should be able to easily repeat these times over and over, and quite possibly crack into the 12's

Done with Drag Radials I need to get a smaller rim and smaller diameter tire to help my 60ft times tho, Vid uploading now.
As noted its the 13.154@106.45 run, so you'll have to take my word for it on the 13.07 I have no video proof, but it may be out there..
I'll scan the slips tonight too.
Once more people get video's off their devices I'm sure there should be another one somewhere... This one got blurry right at the end, but clears up after he re-zoomed it in on the time, I guess that's what you get when you try to use a Camera as a Video camera... lol
I also got my ass kicked by Asylum in a heads up race... I apparently was waiting for a different green light... he had a .002 reaction mine was a .4 something... LOL and since my time was only .3 better than his I didn't catch him, That was before I filled the bottle though... After that even if the R/T was the same spread I would have slapped him
Now he doesn't want to race anymore since he beat me LOL.

Nitrous Jetting
Ok, now the "shots" that I purchased way back when I got this kit... (off ebay) consist of a 30-Nitrous jet 22-Fuel jet Thats the so called "50" shot. 36-Nitrous jet 24-Fuel jet that would be the "75" shot, And 46-Nitrous jet 30-Fuel jet that would be what I bought as the "100" shot.
I've been trying to do some research to see what jets are equivalent to what, but they are all over the place depending on what website you find a list.
One place says for a 100 shot with 60 PSI of fuel pressure I should be running a 52/24 combo, and a 75 is a 41/18 combo. I almost do not agree with the fuel jets since I was running a decent 12.8-12.5 n/a when I was WOT, and these runs put me around 12.0-11.6 for a/f through the run. I would think if I was running less fuel jet than I had in there I would definitely been leaned out some.
the NOS installation book has the same numbers that I'm running listed as their shot sizes, they also say I should have run 4 less on the fuel jet though due to my higher fuel pressure... but once again unless my base starting a/f was somewhere near 12.2 then I think it would have leaned out too much.
Its kinda hard to follow and can really only be determined on a dyno as far as whp increases.
I'll get the slips up today once I get pics of them.
