    just a few slips

went to the strip saturday night, made 21 runs! burned half a tank of gas

where it all started in 2006, first summer of having my license! 429c was my number, bone stock ~175k miles.. its come a LONG ways

as of yesterday my new bests! my number is 37f

    best 1/4

    best mph

    best 60'

i was hitting the rev limiter at 6600 RIGHT at the end of the track, i let off to hit 13.9, and only hit it once but i still hit it! rev limiter is getting changed to 7k now. i tried soo many different shift points, i still ended up being pretty consistant all night, i could have been within .1 all night if i tried.

I bumped up your limiter but i always cringe because i can only control your VE up to 6400 RPM.. and spark up to 4800. After that it uses the last value in the tables.

I can slope the spark advance after 6375, but that's a little risky.

we really need to figure out a way to extend the VE and spark tables up to 7K or beyond.

Anyways, nice job on the 13.9 run!

well just use your judgment, do what you feel is safe with tunning. i would rather be safe than need an engine. you know more than me about this stuff

Doesn't the TDC code have higher VE tables available? Maybe time to switch to that...

17 to a sub 14, gotta be a big difference in the butt-dyno there!

the adder table goes to 7200 but spark advance is still the same as $A1. I've looked at switching but i'd rather have a full VE table like S-AUJP.

The $DF .xdf in the downloads section isn't correct in a few important spots. I have a good one that i should upload.

Not too shabby, get that to hook and tune more and you should be faster than me... your 10.5:1 compression should give you more power over my slightly larger cam. You have more intake lift but less exhaust, but still, that compression ratio is were its at.

25" diameter tires? or 24" ones?

I'm curious to see what tires people are running to get which times. If everyone runs 24's there there is no reason why I should continue struggling trying to get these huge 25" tires spinning. Although I need to figure out if the Drag DR-17 15" rims will fit over my brakes... If so I'm getting new tires for next year.

Ok, yeah your running the same size as me, well relative to rim diameter... I'm a 225/45/17 so I'm dead on 25" dia where your at 24.9 which is the same as a stock size tire.
