    setting megasquirt timming offset

I have a msII v3 running a '03 3400 with dis in a fiero, I want to set the timing offset. I borowed a cheap timing light but I can't find the timing marks on the damper. I don't know that much about setting the timing, so if you could give me some pointers I would really apreciate it. should I get a digital timing light? any recomendations on brand/model?

    Thanks

Because that motor came with dis they dont put timing marks on the pully anymore...

    Does that help at all?

If not, you could use an external trigger that WOTtech sells. That way you can manually offset the timing. But im sure theres an easier way... I havent started tuning yet.

Most tuning files I see for the 3x00's have a 57 degree offset. I'd wait and see if someone else can confirm that though.

57 to 60 degrees. Same as when we us a V8 mask on a DIS vehicle with OBD1
