Wideband with Megasquirt
If I want to tune my megasquirt with a wideband, do i only need a wideband sensor or do i have to get the entire control unit such as an LC1?

Accelerating uphill in OD
You need a controller for the sensor too. MS was designed to read voltage for O2 input in order to be compatible with both narrowband and wideband sensors.

I picked up a LC-1 with the sensor for $150, just haven't got it installed yet.

I should be getting one soon too.
From what I can see, output 2 looks like its already setup for MS. Nice and simple

I know someone who bought the JAW and I tried to tune his car using it and a megasquirt. It was a major PITA. The display was freezing all the time and it was shooting lean and rich randomly, there is all kind of problem with it. The guy ending up buying an AEM and having MUCH more luck with it

Did he build it, or bought one assembled?

He build it himself but he know what he was doing. He's not the only one I've heard with that problem anyway.

I run JAW for wideband and narrowband emulation in my car. It works pretty well for me. I bought the display too and assembled both, but I installed the display yet. For me the display worked when I tested it, but for now I just used the wideband through the ecm to show up in the ALDL data stream and watch it on the laptop. I can log it that way too. Too many projects right now, I may try installing the display once I get my engine back together.
