I'd still be amazed to see a street legal V6 do 140+ in third gear and not do some type of damage to the drivetrain or your motor. Unless your gear ratio is set extremely high and you have no bottom end whatsoever. I know I've seen plenty of idiots float out there motors around here trying to show off or race some car they'd never beat, and they'll never run the same afterwards
No, but it's possible... I set my speed limiter at 120 in the chip. When it hits cutoff there is alot more left in it...
I've always said.. untill i hit the limiter in the 1/4 mile i'm not moving it any higher. Besides, i'm switching to a 3.94 GTZ tranny so my theo top speed will drop quite a bit.
I have a feeling i'll be trapping close to it next spring...
