Valvetrain Information
We have been getting several questions lately on the forums concerning parts associated with the valvetrain. I decided to start a general information article covering common questions that come up. Hopefully the article will grow to a wealth of information.

Is the pushrod location drawing for a RWD car? I have a transverse-mounted engine (generation II - VIN M) and "Radiator" and "Firewall" would belong on the right and left of the diagram, respectively. The engine block/timing case and the fuel injector wiring harness are set up this way, but the intake manifold has cylinder numbers cast into it showing the even cylinders (2-4-6) on the firewall, and the odd cylinders (1-3-5) on the radiator side. Are there other 60degreeV6 engines that have this cylinder arrangement? I suspect that the intake manifold may have been replaced with one from a different engine model.
