Description
1980 MGB with a Camaro 3.4L 'L32' V6, SFI, OBD 1.5, Camaro T5 5 speed. Weight: 2,250 with a full tank of fuel. Fiero seats.
"No sheet-metal was damaged in the making of this conversion"

I have done a "few" MGB V6 conversions and assisted with a few other types. To me and many others little is better than a British Sports car with a torquey 60 degree V6. Best of both worlds- old world Charm, American Ingenuity.

The car handles well and has been lowered 1" from stock, it will be lowered another 1" next year with other brake/suspension improvements.

The brakes are going to be uprated all the way round next year and we are going to add a new type of wheel with a 5 lug bolt pattern for something to offset its appearance in minor ways. The overall goal of this car to to look and sound stock.

With a stock appearing MG, what would some unsuspecting person say to their friends if I beat them? Gee, I was taken by an MG?! Those friends would never let that one go!

What if that person beat my MG and had no idea what I did? What are they gong to tell their friends? I beat an MG today!! Gee, I don't think anyone with any real power is ever going to want to say that!

Yes, I know. Twisted.

Yes, its pretty quick but there is always room for more improvement and more improvements will continue.

An article and more pictures can be found on this car here: http://www.britishv8.org/MG/BrianMcCullough.htm

Between the instruments and other modifications to the driveline, purchasing all the bits and pieces, there is one or two dollars spent in this but very well worth the time and money.

03/20/09: We dyno'ed the car. Nothing done, still a stock engine. Three times running it up. The first and lowest run was 3 BHP less then the last. It gained 3 BHP as we ran it. I must stress that this is a STOCK engine. The only things that can be said that are different are: headers and exhaust, intake and removed emissions system.

Hi Brian, Yes, I did enjoy trading cars this past year. I really enjoyed driving yours, it's a great car...nicely put together and it performs great too! No offense intended at all but I like mine better. :-) Hope to see you again real soon.
