Yeah, the rsm/zpec, but I think they were just referring to it as in CSC and not the actual kit for use. Not only that but that kit has no tune, they remove the MAF, delete the code for it, and run it un-tuned, with not even a RRFPR!!! KaBOOM!

A CSC would work well on these motors. Efficient and builds more boost the higher the RPM. Mars has a Rotrex CSC on his cammed 3400 where the A/C would be and he is running 12s with a 282 2nd gen cavy.

Well any self respecting modder wouldn't buy the kit for the tune, they would buy it and tune it... Also I wasn't referring to that part, I was talking about the drive to the SC... why by the kit if your not even going to use the drive assy, and from what i hear thats the bad part. Hell a oil free SC from Vortech is only 2500 vs 4400 for the RSM kit.

And I dont know of anywhere where you can buy a SC or Turbo kit and have it come with a 100% compatable ready to go tune... so anyone who thinks they can buy a kit and just bolt on and go is insaine... I just look at the RSM as a kit where they took the engineering of the mounting out of the story if you wanted to put one on, since I heard that the drive assy is crap, bad bearings and such and a cheap roll pin that breaks easily.

You're going to have to throw a driveshaft driven CSC kit in a 3.4L, because you sure as shit aren't stuffing the blower on the left of the engine. There would be no way to route the belt. Then you'd have to route the piping all the way to the front where there is hardly any room in the front to begin with. This isn't an SHO. (lucky bastards) Fan reloation a must either way too.

I was just saying a blower like the RSM is what would be needed to get started. Maybe not the whole damn kit entirely because it's expensive as it is, but you're going to pick it up on the cheap anyways because it's not like you can call RSM anymore. We know you hate RMS, but aren't there some people out there that have used it to some success?

The way I think it should be done is the timing belt cover would be be a custom piece that will hold/house the driveshaft. The driveshaft would have to be made longer anyways (new bearings) because it will have to go under the dogbone. The driveshaft unit can be between the 1 o'clock and 2 o'clock area and the belt well wrap around it snuggly after the waterpump and then down it will go to the AC compressor.

These are just some of my passed ideas. Car is no more, otherwise, this project would be in the works already.
