HELP Can't get Injectors out!!

Ok, I've sprayed WD40 around the top of them, pry'ed at them with prybar and screwdrivers. It won't budge. I've even un-done the clips on the fuel rail, and they won't come out of the rail.... (3100 engine)

1) How do I get them out?
2) Are the o-rings the same for the injector to rail, and injector to manifold?
3) The metal lines going to the rail and FPR are loose and swivel/move... is this bad?

if you took the clips off, they should come off. if you have never had them off before they can be a real pain. its easier to do them on a bench instead of in the car. just keep wiggling them back and forth and it should loosen them up. the hard lines are supposed to move thats normal. i dont know if the o-rings are the same or not. i know they were different colors on mine. the outside diameter seems to be the same but its probably the inside diameter thats different. someone else here will know for sure.

Never had them off. 200,000miles. I have the manifold off, but it's harder since there's nothing to hold down the manifold while I try to wiggle them out... I've never taken them off when doing intake gaskets because I knew it would be a pain...

I will keep thinking... Thanks for the tips.

Keep trying.. they'll most likely rip the Orings if they're that stuck.

I twisted them back and forth (couldn't get the electrical connectors off, no room for my fingers) then pried the fuel rail up with a pry bar for each injector. They popped out of the rail, then I rocked them out of the LIM. The o-rings stayed on the injectors and in the fuel rail...

Man what a PITA that was. I'm covered in gas and my hands are full of cuts. I hope I didn't get any dirt in the fuel rail or inside the injector. That would suck.

Anyone know if the o-rings are the same for the rail and manifold??

As a side note the STOCK LIM has rocker clearance issues (never noticed it before). There is one spot worn away!!!! I will take a pic and upload it later...

Auto Zone sells new fuel injector O-rings for less than 10 bucks. I would not try to reuse them if they were that hard to get out. I pulled mine out with the intake still on the car and one of the tips and o-rings fell down into the intake.

So after trying to fish it out with a peice of wire...Nope that was a waste of time.(Lots of time...)

Blow it out with compressed air...Nope that did not work. (Makes a cool sound though)

Cuss, scream, walk around and cuss sream some more...That always helps a little right?

Just leave it in there and say what the hell its only one valve and I have 11 more... I think this would have led to more cussing screaming and walking around calling myself a dumb ass.

Pull the LIM off to get it out...Almost, but then
I realized I had an O-ring extraction contraption...And

Pb blaster, if you pry on them chances are you will break them internally. O rings for the top and bottom are the same.

I pried on them only on the metal bottoms which is all one piece all the way to the tip. When I pried on the rail upwards I did so slowly and held it steady and then they slowly slide out of the rail. I think they will be fine.

The o-rings are different top and bottom from what I pulled.

Top: all black, thicker than bottom ones.
bottom: thinner, bottom half of o-ring is brown, top half is black..

So what to do about o-rings? The ones I got are Fel-pro and are the bottom size, all black.
