Just realized that my other post didn't make sense. What I meant to ask was do I need any special tools to remove the heads and intake from a 3400,other than wenches and sockets and are the 3400's metric?

a nice 1/4'' 10mm swivel socket for the side lim bolts make those cake.

The 1/4 swivel will save you lots of frustration. Other than that a set of ratcheting wrenches will speed you along. Nothin special.
